29th October 2019 – Letter & report sent to Planning Inspectorate
SASES, with the authority of Friston Parish Council have sent a report and supporting evidence to the Planning Inspectorate – the report documents numerous failures by Scottish Power Renewables in pre-application planning and statutory consultation for project applications EA1N (EN010077) & EA2 (EN010078).
At this most important stage SASES & Friston Parish Council have asked the Planning Inspectorate to consider and address evidence for why both applications should be rejected. Scottish Power Renewable’s pre-application consultations have been confusing and misleading. SPR failed to effectively engage with, listen to, or act on important community feedback. SPR also failed to address concerns of the Suffolk authorities & our MP.
It is now down to the Planning Inspectorate to do their job and determine whether they are happy with SPR’s pre-application processes in light of this report.
